- Climbing over crags (barriers) together
- Confidence in covenant with God (against uncircumcised/undedicated)
- Conformed to what was in his master’s heart (desire, will, plan)
- Committed to take risks together
- Came when his master said, “Come.”
- God added His supernatural power to the practical steps Jonathan and his armor bearer took in agreement.
- Confirmation of the conditions Jonathan set for their initiative
- “Come up here” spoken by the adversary
- Letting the deceivers be deceived by their own deception
- Trembling (fear) in the hearts of the people
- Trembling of their protective fortifications
- Trembling of the earth
